Each Day: INVITATORY and PROPHECIES:
REFRAIN: The Lord our King Who is to come, O hasten to adore Him.

PROPHECIES: #1: Rejoice, O daughter of Sion, and be filled with joy, O daughter of Jerusalem, for behold the Lord shall come and in that day there shall be a great light and the mountains shall bring forth sweetness, and the hills shall flow with milk and honey for a great prophet is coming and He will renovate Jerusalem.

#2: Behold, He Who is God and Man shall come forth from the house of David to sit upon His throne, and when you see Him then your heart shall be joyful.

#3: Behold, the Lord shall come, our protector the Holy One of Israel, wearing on His head a kingly crown; and He will rule from sea to sea and from the river to the utmost bounds of the earth.

#4: Behold the Lord shall appear and He shall not deceive! If He does delay, be waiting for Him, for He shall come and He will not tarry.

#5: The Lord will descend as rain upon the fields; His justice shall rise in those days and there shall be peace in abundance; and all the kingss of the earth shall adore Him; all nations shall serve Him.

#6: An Infant shall be born to us and He shall be called the God of strength. He will sit on the throne of His father David and He shall rule us, upon whose shoulders has been placed all power.

#7: Bethlehem, thou city of the Most High, out of thee shall go forth He Who rules Israel; and His going forth will be like the dawning light that begins the everlasting day; and He shall be praised in the midst of the universe and peace will be on earth, at the coming of the Lord.

REJOICE O YE HEAVENS Rejoice, O you Heavens, and on earth be exultation, praise the Lord, O you mountains. O mountains, break forth into sounds of gladness, and let the hills sing of justice.
For He who is our Lord is coming and he will show mercy to his poor ones.
Be-dew us, heavens, from above and let the clouds rain down the Just One; let the earth be opened and bud forth the Savior.
O Lord, keep us in remembrance and come to us bringing salvation. Show your mercy unto us O Lord and with your salvation visit us.
Send forth, O Lord, the Lamb who will govern all the earth, from the rock in the desert to the mountain of the daughter of Sion.
Come forth to deliver us, O Lord, God of power, show your countenance and salvation shall come to us. Come forth, O Lord and visit us in peacefulness, so that we may rejoice before you with a perfect heart. So that we may know, O Lord, your ways upon earth, and all the nations shall know your salvation. Stir up, O Lord, your power and come, so you can save us.
Come forth, O Lord and do not tarry; do away with the offences of the people. Would that you migh break through the heavens and come down, before your countenance the mountains shall melt away.
Come, Lord and show your face to us, you whose throne is above the cherubim.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

THE LITTLE CHAPTER:
The Lamb without stain enters in for us as One who leads the way, for He is made a High Priest forever and for endless ages, according to the order of Melchisadech. He is Himself the King of justice whose generation shall have no ending.
Response: Thanks be to God.
HYMN: O Rise and Hear that Voice so Clear come ringing through the darkness drear, and bid the gloom and shadows fly, for Christ in splendor shines on high.
The Lamb of God is sent below, himself to pay the debt we owe, for mercy now let all people plead, repent for every sinful deed.
The Blessed Author of all time becomes a man to free from crime, and save the souls that once he made, in his own flesh our ransom paid.
To God the Father glory be, to him who comes to set us free, to Holy Spirit be all praise, through length of years and endless days. Amen.

ANTIPHONS: O Root of Jesse, Who art a Standard-bearer for the people, before Whom even the mouths of rulers shall be silent, to Whom shall pray the people of the Gentiles, Come forth to deliver us; hasten now and do not tarry.

OUR LADY'S CANTICLE:
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior. For he has regarded the lowliness of his handmaid and from this time on, all generatons shall call me blessed. For the Almighty has done great things for me and Holy is his name. And his mercy is from generation to generation to those who fear him. With his right arm he has done mightily. He has scattered those who are proud in heart. He has put down the powerful from their places and the humble he has lifted up on high. He has received his servant Israel calling to mind his mercy. According to the promise which he gave to our Fathers, to Abraham and to his descendants forever.

Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen.
 
LET US PRAY: Hasten, we beseech you, O Lord, do not delay, and grant us the asssistance of your grace from above that we who confide in your goodness, may be aided by the consolation of your coming, who live and reign with the Holy Spirit, God, world without end. Amen.
